Do I have to be an IT Recruiter to be a part of the Nexmation home based recruiting team?
Feb. 23, 2010
No, you may recruit in any field or geography that you choose, we do not limit our team members.

Do I have to have experience as a recruiter or in staffing to join the recruiting team?
Feb. 23, 2010
Yes, we are only accepting team members that have experience running a full desk in staffing or recruiting. This means that you must know how to do your own sales as well as candidate sourcing.

Do you have any non-compete agreements?
Feb. 24, 2010
Our recruiters are not bound by any non-competes when they leave our team. This means that if you recruit with us and it doesn't work out for any reason, you can continue recruiting the very next day. You may not recruit any candidates or clients of Nexmation, LLC for a period of 1 year, but you can continue to recruit within your existing market uninterrupted.

Do you have any quotas?
Feb. 24, 2010
We require that our team members bill at least $5K every 3 months to remain part of the team and not have any additional deposits due. This adds up to a total billing quota of $20K per year. If a recruiter cannot meet those billing levels and is still actively participating in the team and wishes to stay on they can simply make additional deposits which will be refunded when they are billing at the minimum levels again.

Hello Sir, I am from India and doing recruiting for US based direct clients. Do you consider Recruiters like us for your program?
Mar. 9, 2010
We are currently looking for USA based recruiters only.

How much money can I make as part of the Virtual Recruiter Team?
Feb. 24, 2010
There is no limit to your income as part of our team. Our recruiters and staffing sales specialists earn a full 60% of the total gross margin on the billings they generate.

So for every $100K in billings generated the recruiter keeps $60K. Compare this to the industry average compensation of 40% of billings (base salary + commissions + benefits average 40-45% of billings industry-wide).

Additionally because our recruiters have the benefit of working with other recruiters on shared job orders and a shared candidate pool all of our recruiters are able to complete a higher volume of transactions than they would on their own. This means that by actively being part of a recruiting team you may be able to bill significantly more than you have in the past.

This means that you will be compensated for the value of the work that you do.

If you have shared job orders, why do I have to do sales and recruiting?
Feb. 23, 2010
We like for all of our recruiters to be full desk capable. This means that you should be capable of developing business as well as recruitment of candidates.

We want to make sure that all of our recruiters are fully capable of being successful in our team. The shared job orders and shared candidates are designed to allow a "load balancing" effect to take place, which will allow recruiters to assist each other as the highs and lows of their own recruiting and sales cycle happen, not to replace the need for sales and recruitment.

Is any training provided if one is recruiting in an area in which he/she has never recruited before?
Mar. 3, 2010
Currently our training consists of a membership to http://greatrecruitertraining.com as well as team conference calls and a company knowledge base.

Our recruiters are free to recruit in any industry / geography that they feel comfortable, we do not specify that you work in any particular niche.

Is the Nexmation Recruiting Team like a Split Fee Network?
Feb. 24, 2010
No. In a split fee network you make connections with your competitors to find specific situations where you can help each other. Candidates are often put on hold as a last resort until the other recruiter's candidates have all been rejected, even if your candidate is superior.

In our team recruiting approach all members of the recruiting team work together in a completely open and transparent manner to help each other and build a greater volume of placements for every recruiter on the team.

Is there any cost to join the recruiting team?
Feb. 23, 2010
We ask all team members to pay an up front 100% fully refundable deposit to partially cover the cost of providing you with access to our Applicant Tracking System, market research and resume sourcing tools.

The amount of the deposit is $300 for 3 months access to these tools. This is not marked up at all to our recruiters. We are not a reseller of vendor of these tools, and we are not trying to make money off of giving our recruiters access to them. The only way we make money is if we give you the tools and support to be successful.

When a recruiter has billed a total of $5,000 the deposit is refunded in full to the recruiter in addition to the recruiter's commissions.

If a recruiter would like access to HotJobs for resume searching there is an additional deposit for a 3 months of access at our significantly discounted cost. - If you purchase directly from HotJobs the same access will cost you significantly more. We can discuss specifics over the phone. The deposit is also fully refunded with $5,000 in total billings.

We are not trying in any way to make money off of our team members by selling them access to our tools. The only reason that we charge these deposits is to ensure that all members of our team are committed to actively recruiting and becoming a fully participating team member.

What advantage does the Nexmation Virtual Recruiting Team offer me vs. being a Solo Recruiter?
Feb. 24, 2010
We designed this position with the home based solo full desk recruiter in mind. We are recruiters too, and when starting out or starting over, it is prohibitively expensive to purchase all of the tools, software, resume database access, training, and everything else that is needed to be successful.

The fact is, that EVERYTHING that we need as recruiters is just plain expensive. A recruiter can easily spend between $10,000 - $20,000 on recruiting tools and memberships in his or her first year of operation.

Another hurdle faced by home based recruiters is isolation. Being plugged into a team every day, and having weekly phone meetings helps keep the isolation away.

Having access to back office billing and collections, unlimited payroll support for temporary or contract staffing placements, and team sourcing helps the solo recruiter make more placements more quickly, and make more money.

What Applicant Tracking, Market Research and Candidate Sourcing Software do You Provide Your Recruiters?
Feb. 25, 2010
We provide the best tools in the industry for our recruiters. We will be glad to discuss the specific software and tools with you over the phone if you are a match for our team.

You require full desk recruiters, but your website says that recruiters can work on their strengths. I am significantly better at (sales or candidate sourcing) why do I have to do both?
Feb. 24, 2010
We want our recruiters to spend more time on their strengths. This means that if you are better at sales you should spend more time on sales, and if you are better at sourcing, then you should spend more time on that. The team concept will allow each person to have other recruiters with complimentary skills to back them up. However, each recruiter is still responsible for developing enough business to sustain themselves.
